The Company

Robust Details Limited is a non-profit distributing company (number 04980223) limited by guarantee. It is a UKAS accredited product certification body (number 4171) and operates the robustdetails® certification scheme which helps new homes developers to demonstrate compliance with the minimum sound insulation standards required by Building Regulations.

The Scheme

The robustdetails® Scheme is financed by means of plot registration fees which are stated on the application form or, if using the online registration process, are displayed before payment is requested. A link to the application form is provided in the support area of the website on the downloads page. Please see our terms and conditions for plot registrations which give further information about the rules and procedures for using the Scheme.

Complaints, disputes and appeals

We hope that we can satisfy our customers and consumers but, in the event that you wish to complain about our service of Scheme, dispute a statement we make or appeal against a decision we have made, then please contact us using the contact details or form on the 'contact us' page in the first instance.

We aim to send you an acknowledgement within 3 working days and then investigate and provide you with a full response within 10 working days of receiving your complaint, dispute or appeal. In the unlikely event that you feel that our full response is not satisfactory, your case can be referred to a higher level for review and, in some cases a third level of review is available.
